Summary: Less is the Green More! (LEEN!) is a project that aims to train youth workers, environmental and community activists on how to promote and live in sustainable and planet-friendly way.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, Environmental and Community activists.
For participants from: Bulgaria, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Tunisia.
Group size: 24 participants.
Do you work with young people? Do you want to raise awareness on environmental impact humans have on nature? Do you wish to expand your understanding of personal and community impact on our planet? Do you wish to develop your training skills? Are you up for a personal challenge? If the answer is “YES”, then LEEN! is for you!
The project has 4 stages:
10 September – 15 October 2019
During this stage of the project you will have the chance to prepare on the topics of Sustainability, Responsible Consumption, Sustainable Development Goals, etc.
21 – 27 October 2019
(including traveling days)
During this training you will investigate the limits of our finite planet, you will examine the Great Outdoors, you will form a sustainable micro community, you will develop both personally and professionally while reflecting on your own skills and approaches. This whole process will require your full involvement and focus as we go through Human Rights and Environment, Biodiversity, and Non-Formal Education Tools.
1 – 30 November 2019
During this stage you will spread your LEEN! experience within your local community. You will be asked to shape and share training session using the skills acquired during the previous parts of the project.
1 – 15 December 2019
During this part you will have the chance to reflect on your own learning process and share it.
No participation fee is requested.
Accommodation and food
Accommodation, food and training materials are provided through co-funding from Erasmus+ programme.
Travel reimbursement will be done up to the following amounts depending on the country you are coming from: 30 EUR for Bulgaria; 275 EUR for Tunisia; 275 EUR for Sweden; 360 EUR for Portugal; 360 EUR for Spain; 820 EUR for Netherlands.
Working language: English.
SCADENZA: 1st September 2019.
