Summary: We aim to share good practices in sustainable education and empowering young people to live more sustainable lives, with focus on the possibilities and visions for the Generation Z, Digitalisation analyses & sustainable needs.
Group size: 42 participants.
For participants from: Germany, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey.
Target group: Youth workers, Youth leaders, Youth coaches, interesting or getting trained to work in the social field.

With the project “Sustainability in Action 2.0 – Learn, Live, Pass on!” we would like to offer an activity for youth workers and to empower them to lead a more sustainable life themselves, be role models and pass on their values and knowledge. We have three main goals with our project:
• To reflect on sustainability and what it means in the fields of
ecology, education, economy and social structures;
• To reflect on Digitalization vs. social sustainability; To empower young people to integrate sustainable living practices into their daily life and experience Green business;
• To equip youth workers in education for sustainable development with the necessary
skills and tools to do so.
We also want to use this project to build sustainable relationships and to think together about how we can improve community life, how we can make community life sustainable and how we can contribute to more social justice through our work. We also want to look at how we can better assess and protect personal needs and energy resources for long-term mental and physical health and and protect them. Furthermore, we aim to share our work results, good practices and activity guides. This Activity is part of a project with finally 4 other activities. The main target groups for the project are professional youth workers and trainee youth workers who want to build more confidence and self-esteem in their profession by increasing their knowledge about Sustainability and education for sustainable development and non-formal learning.

This project is funded through the ERASMUS+ and 100% of the accommodation, food and materials are covered by the programme.
Travel reimbursement
The travel budget: from Germany: 360 Euro; from Italy: 275 Euro (green travel 320 Euro); from Portugal: 530 Euro; from Slovenia: 275 Euro (green travel 320 Euro); from Romania: 275 Euro (green travel 320 Euro); from Turkey: 10-99 km 23 Euro. 100-499 km 180, Euro (green travel 210); < 500 km 275 Euro (green travel 320 Euro). Your travel costs will be reimbursed up to the limit, if you spent less, you will get what you spent. Only public transportation can be reimbursed (not taxis). Please choose the most environmentally friendly way to travel.
