Summary: A three working days event aiming to develop viable cross-sectoral Strategic Partnerships under Key Action 2 – Strategic Partnerships in the field of education, training and youth. The thematic focus for this year will be democratic participation.
Target group: Youth workers, Trainers, Youth project managers, Teachers, professors, adult education professionals, educational professionals.
For participants from: Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme countries.
Group size: 45 participants.
Details:
Strategic Partnerships Plus (SPP) is designed as a training course on how to write a successful application combined with elements of a classic contact making seminar. The event will gather representatives from schools, VET organizations, universities, public institutions and public authorities, youth associations, NGOs, companies, etc.
History of the event
“Strategic Partnerships Plus” started in 2014, in the same year with Erasmus+ program and it is one of Romanian National Agency traditional event, with many quantitative and qualitative results translated in partnerships, cooperation, good practices sharing, people and organizations connected. Building up from this experience, the event to be organized aims to have a more integrated approach in order to maximize the strength of all fields (either school, formal education, non-formal learning through youth work and adult learning or vocational training).
The Theme
The thematic focus will be democratic participation. Thus, Romanian National Agency will provide several good practices from Erasmus+ projects tackling active participation. Also we will invite some speakers with strong input in this thematic.
Profile of participants
• Represent an entity active in one of the fields: youth, school education, vocational education and training, adult education;
• The entity didn’t engage in an KA2 (strategic partnership) Erasmus+ project as a coordinator;
• Has the drive and motivation to write, submit and implement a project proposal;
• Has the support and agreement of the entity represented to engage in partnerships in the name of the entity;
• Possess good English (written, spoken) knowledge;
• Can take part in all the 3 days of the TC and are willing to complete the application forms and full evaluation by giving seriousness and time to each field.
Objectives
We will manage:
• To create a space for developing partnerships able to submit good quality applications and implement effectively cross-sectoral Strategic Partnerships;
• To provide the necessary information to understand and implement Erasmus+ strategic partnerships;
• To provide a space for sharing knowledge and experiences between organizations involved in all types of learning activities.
The event will place the participants in the centre of the learning process through interactive methods while focusing on the understanding of the concepts and specifics of working in transnational cooperation projects. A mix of training, workshops, facilitated discussions will be used while the work results will be presented in the plenary sessions. The activities will be led by experienced facilitators with a broad understanding of the learning process and strategic partnerships under Erasmus+. The working days will be 13, 14 and 15 of November. 12 of November will be arrival day and 16 of November departure day.

Participation fee
This project is financed by the participating NAs of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.
Accommodation and food
RO NA will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.
Travel reimbursement
Please contact your National Agency (NA) or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
