Call for trainers: “Meeting of the EU Youth Dialogue National Working Groups”
Romanian NA in cooperation with the Slovenian NA, European Youth Forum and Strategic partners such as such as European Commission, FI, HR, DE and PT NAs (from the current and future EU Youth Dialogue Cycle) is looking for 3 Facilitators.

Description
A three day meeting dedicated to representatives of the EU Youth Dialogue National Working Group consisting of a mix of training, networking and information sessions.
Goal
- Enhance the effectiveness of the EU Youth Dialoge and the cooperation among the NWGs.
Objectives
- Exploring the results of the current EU Youth Dialoge cycle and laying the foundation for the next cycle from the NWG perspective;
- Building the NWG capacity in order to organize the process, ensure a high outreach and harvest meaningful results;
- Reflect on the implementation status of the European Youth Strategy and the role of the EU Youth Dialogue;
- Create synergies with relevant stakeholders and programs (such as future Erasmus).
When
19th – 21st of May 2020 (working days, arrival on the 18th of May, departure on the 22ndh of May) in Bucharest, Romania.
Participants
Around 100 participants (2 representatives from each NWG, 1 representative from each National Youth Authority, 1 representative from each National Agency).
Requested trainer profile
The facilitators should have the following expertise:
- Have hands-on experience with EU Youth Dialogue (or previous structured dialogue) and strong knowledge of the process;
- Have a good knowledge of EU youth-related policies and eagerness to research the latest developments in the field;
- Have competences in designing conference programmes and methodologies for large groups involving a huge variety of stakeholders and levels of knowledge and experience;
- Have strong intercultural competence and relevant experience of working with international groups;
- Have experience in working and interacting with policy makers;
- Have excellent administration, organizational and time management skills;
- Have problem-solving and conflict-management skills;
- Be able to ensure that the documentation from the workshops is produced;
- Have a proficient level of English.
Working conditions
The following tasks are to be shared by the facilitators:
- To support the design of the overall facilitation process, in respect to all stakeholders involved;
- To take part in an online and face to face preparatory meeting (there are foreseen two half-day Skype meetings before the event at the beginning of March and middle of April and a face to face meeting at the middle of March);
- To take actively part in the event, facilitate plenary or workshop sessions, coordinate teams of volunteer facilitators for workshop sessions;
- To cooperate with the team of of the organizers;
- To write a common activity report of the conference.
Fee
The facilitators will be proposed a contract for 8 days with a unit cost of 310 Euro/day/faciliator.
Other costs
Costs related with travel, board and lodging connected with attendance of the event and the preparatory face to face meeting will be covered by the organizers.
