Environmental crimes are among the most pressing global threats of our century. From waste trafficking to illegal mining, from wildlife crimes to the involvement of organized criminal groups, these acts not only endanger our planet but also undermine justice, human health, and security worldwide.
The Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI), together with the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI), is launching the ninth edition of the Winter School on Environmental Crimes, taking place online from 17 to 21 November 2025.
